Tagine actually refers to the little cone-shaped clay pot that is traditionally used to cook this meal. I don't have one, but it still tastes really good in a crock pot.
SLOW COOKER: Cook on low for 3-4 hours if defrosted, or on high for 6-8 hours if frozen.
STOVE: Defrost and place in a large pot/Dutch oven. Simmer on medium for 60-90 minutes, stirring occasionally to make sure it doesn’t stick.
If desired, thicken slightly with 1-2 tbsp each water & flour of choice. Serve with regular or cauliflower rice
