This summer I'm working hard to replenish depleted minerals. Baby #4 has been one of my easier postpartum adventures in many ways, but 9 months later I'm still feeling pretty depleted.
Maybe because I haven't slept through the night in a year...
Anyway, I've been reading about mineral support and this is the smoothie I came up with. Citrus, coconut water, sea salt, and bananas are packed with trace minerals. Our bodies can be depleted of trace minerals for up to 10 years after having a baby, so this is a great way to support your mineral stores.
